About Us

Jo Allan PR Ltd is a London based agency offering a professional and creative public relations service covering West End, tours, national and international campaigns.

We love theatre and our mission is to enhance the success of each project working closely with our clients, providing carefully designed campaigns and strategies.

Jo Allan founded the company in 2009 to concentrate on her great passion, delivering expertise gained from a prolific career in entertainment PR. Fifteen years on the company has developed consistently with a sizeable, highly motivated staff and management with considerable experience looking after a number of top quality clients.

The core team at JAPR includes:

Jo Allan: Jo has extensive experience in public relations across the theatre industry, and established JAPR to focus on her great passion. Before this, as well as theatre PR her work included television drama publicity and personal publicity for actors. She also previously worked in corporate public relations for a global TV news and entertainment network, an international music festival and major consumer brands PR.

Kitty Greenleaf,  Associate Director with over 10 years’ experience working in theatre PR and responsibility for a variety of clients, covering venues, West End plays and UK tours, with whom she works closely.

Freya Cowdry, Senior Publicist, who has specialised in theatre PR for 7 years at JAPR and elsewhere, having earlier worked in marketing and press at Theatre Royal Brighton and New Wimbledon Theatre.

Flavia Fraser-Cannon, Senior Publicist, with 7 years’ PR agency experience gained at Mobius Industries; previously she worked as a theatre producer for over a decade (including Theatre503, The Miniaturists) after assistant roles in production (ATG, Mark Rubenstein) and press.

Tom Kershaw-Green, Publicist, joined 5 years ago upon graduating in Drama & Theatre Arts from the University of Birmingham.

Francesca Dale, Press Assistant, joined upon completing her training in professional Dance and Musical Theatre, with a brief hiatus working at Disneyland Paris.
